My dish drainer looks like this 3 times a day. I haven't eaten out for 13 days. I made my Grandma Amy's rolls, and they were delicious. And now, a week later, all but 3 of them are gone. Gone!
I can see the back of my fridge. I'm finding that, cooking all of the time, I can keep track a lot better of what's in there, and we've had a lot less spoilage.
I've also lost about 4 pounds, either because of the fast food deprivation or because my anxiety over the economy is tamping down my appetite. Either way, 4 pounds is 4 pounds.
Today I'm going to try and make my own laundry detergent using this formula. And do my taxes.
Last night I went to a parent meeting for Max's school and realized I really have got to get cooking to arrange things for kindergarten. I've got to fill out a form so that our parish contributes, which requires that I file my taxes first, so here I go. Tax time. (Always a little nerve wracking for me since the form is so complex. This year for the first time I'm using the free file from H&R Block. I already did a trial run, and we should be getting a refund. Hope that proves to be true with the computer version.)

Rachel, I started making this laundry soap last month...I've always hated
paying so much money for it. I'd never heard about washing soda. I got
the recipe from the Duggars website...they are the family with 18 (I think)
children. And I'm sure I have the same white backsplash as you! Keep the
tips coming, love them.
