Waiting to see if I'm pregnant

I know there's not a chance of this really happening, but John and I celebrated after the social worker left on the 5th, and it's not outside the realm of possibility.

I'm not sure what I would do regarding Max if I did get pregnant now. John says he would proceed with the adoption, but the timing might get sticky. I don't know if the Russian court will allow an adoption to a visibly pregnant petitioner. And I'm not sure I'd want to do all that while pregnant. Well, I guess we'll see. Probably won't happen anyway.
