Since I last blogged...

...J.'s car has logged in $175 more dollars in repairs ($65 for tow, $110 for spark plugs, etc.; it still needs a new battery but is running). Also we went up north to Petoskey to stay with R&R for almost a week. That was nice. I did two puzzles with R2 which we both enjoyed. I liked it so much that I cleared off a space upstairs to do future puzzles if I am so inclined. Since I'm getting Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince on audio for Christmas, I figure I'll have time for stuff like that real soon.

Max has been getting more and more "terrible" the closer he gets to two. We've got less than a month to go, but some days he starts challenging me from the moment he gets up. Right now we are really struggling over sweets. He'd eat candy and cookies from sun up to sundown if I let him. I'm not so much worried about the weight. He's shot up 2.5 inches this fall and is almost skinny now (you can see ribs). But I am concerned about his teeth which were probably not flouridated in utero. I really don't want to have to deal with a mass of cavities. It's hard, though, as I love sweets myself and have great teeth, so I would like to snack throughout the day but have to wait for when he's in bed to indulge.

Well, I've got Christmas crap to accomplish (wrapping, writing cards, addressing envelopes), so I'd better go.
