Reading between the lines...

...here , here and here, it looks like by book #4 (Fourth Comings) there is still no satisfactory resolution to the muddle McCafferty made of Jessica and Marcus's relationship.  Sigh. 

I would really like to know what the "big secret" Jessica finds out about Hope and Marcus is.  But not enough to destroy the afterglow I've maintained from books 1 and 2 by not continuing with the series.   

I'm sorry - maybe this makes me shallow - but I'm not in this for Jessica's personal and sexual development.  I've been reading along for one reason and it's spelled:

M A R C U S  F L U T I E.  

No Marcus and a messed up love means this reader's outta here.
