The other day Max had quite the adventure in the backyard. It was finally warm (and dry) enough, so together Mom and Max set up the little tent Bumpa and Nana gave him for Christmas.
It even had a cool tunnel extension to explore.
But before we could finish breaking camp, we were attacked by wild animals!!! A vicious tiger, a raging crocodile, and two wild bears!
Loyal family dogs quickly took one bear out of the fray.
This bear won't be bothering any more unsuspecting campers.
Unfortunately, there was still a scaaaaawy tiger on the scene!
And a crocodile to wrestle down!
But neither proved a match for Camper Max who quickly brought them to their knees - or whatever mid-leg joint tigers and crocodiles have.
Animal taming complete, the tiger wrestler can finally get a rest himself. What an adventure!
That is WAY too cute. He's adorable in those glasses. Love the dogs
taking out the bear, too!
Cool story-- humans don't understand that when they're away, the toys come
alive just like in TOY STORY!
This story elicits conflicting emotions. On the one hand, I am proud of my
young cousin's impressive display of courage in the face of mortal danger.
On the other hand, I am concerned about the potentially lethal force used
on the animals. What would PETA say? Hmmm . . . But of this I am sure -
Max is blessed to have such a wonderful and creative mother.
My kids did the same thing this weekend. They only lasted 3 hours after a
down pour!
