Passport

So yesterday, after my first day back at work, I felt compelled to get this adoption thing underway (obviously, I just loooooove my job).

I filled out the passport renewal form, found my marriage certificate (it makes me nervous to send the original, but you have to), and wrote a check for $55. Now I just have to get my photos done. I might do that at lunch.

Tonight, I'm going to start work on the application itself. It actually feels good to do this stuff. I've felt helpless to my body so long, that doing work that might lead to a real result is almost cathartic.
