Our social worker called today and said there's a family interested in us. They found our Bethany profile online and, having looked through all the profiles, are really just interested in us. I find this astounding. First, because it's really hard to search those profiles, and ours is more or less located dead center of all of them. You'd have to do a lot of clicking just to find our page. Second, because so many people have said to us stuff like, "Two librarians, huh? It must be hard to find a way to spice that up and make it sound interesting." It seems that our qualities appealed to someone, though, making the old adage, There's a lid for every pot, seem, for once, accurate.
