You missed <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Reader-Raelynx-Sharon-Shinn/dp /0441014690">this</a> *g* Or did you drop this series?

On the DVD front, if you could only have one of those options, stick with Veronica Mars over Robin Hood. I tried to watch Robin Hood, but I just couldn't (combo too cheesey/too anachronistic). Though oddly I had most eps on in the background, just muted and would tune in for the last 5 minutes. I have no idea why I watched the ENTIRE series that way (Saturday night and nothing else on?) and it must've done well because I think there's a second season. Though at least BBC America actually bothers to run programming on Saturday nights. I'm madly in love with Doctor Who and enjoying it's spinoff Torchwood right now.

Thanks for the input on Robin Hood, Jen. I'm getting that one through the library, and really only for Richard Armitage. I've been on hold for awhile, but I think I'll get it in the next couple of weeks.

I think I'll probably shell out for Veronica Mars even though I've heard it's not as good as the first two seasons. Gotta have a complete collection. :)

I haven't dropped it, Rosario, but I've not been following it as closely. I didn't care for The Thirteenth House, but I might get the other two from the library when I get a spare reading moment.

I did like the first book a lot and the short stories she's written set in Gillengaria.

I was pretty disappointed in The Thirteenth House too, but Dark Moon Defender is my favorite of the series, and Reader and Realynx is probably my second favorite.

I'll have to give Dark Moon Defender another chance then if your reaction was similar, Janine. That will give me something to look forward to.

I really didn't care for the adultery theme in Thirteenth House. Even if it was "washed clean" at the end.
