I think this is our Max!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After feeling so down about our referral situation this weekend, I came into work this morning to some wonderful news! The Yaroslavl Adoption Center has just sent another referral - this time of a healthy baby boy. His name is Dmitrij, he's seven months old (born in late January, must be; we didn't get an exact date). I can't post his picture here, but he's just beautiful. He's soft and warm looking with curly reddish looking hair. If you want to see the picture, email me.

I called our agency to accept the referral, and I think we will be traveling mid-September to see him.

After all this time waiting, it's hard to believe that it's actually happening! Just this morning I was thinking that our dossier had been there at Yaroslavl for 4 months now. And then I came into work, and there was our referral. Oh, he's just so cute. It'll be hard waiting to go see him. So hard.

J. and I are so pleased and happy about this news. I can't say how much. I feel like I'm going to cry, but I haven't yet.
