Good news on the gray hair front
posted Tuesday, 24 February 2004
I was talking to my parents on Saturday, (before the stomach flu hit) and felt a little more optimistic about my ageing process.
All this time I've been going on the assumption that I'd gray like my mother did - in her early thirties. But by age 33, she was quite a bit more gray than I am. She was frosting her hair to "hide" the gray. I've found a couple of gray hairs, but they are few and far between and basically unnoticeable. I can't see them, anyway.
Well, my dad said Saturday that he didn't gray until his 50's. Maybe even his mid-50's. So maybe there's hope for me!
