Dog of the Week: Blazzer
Look at this guy - isn't he a handsome one? He's a Lab mix. His face looks Lab, but his fur is all fluffy like a Chow; soft too.
Blazzer's been at the Humane Society for awhile - he's had several fond relationships with kennelmates, and unfortunately, has had to say goodbye every time. Why he hasn't been chosen, I'm not sure. He's big and black (two characteristics which often make a dog last to be chosen), but he's a lover, not a fighter. He's enthusiastic to get out of his kennel and likes to play, but he's not too hard to walk and will sat quietly for a snuggle as long as you will pet him. So gentle, this guy. He's cleared for kids too.
Blazzer is heartworm positive, but this is only transmittable via mosquito so any other pets will be fine interacting with him. And fortunately for Blazzer it's treatable.
Blazzer needs a loving home, and he deserves one. He's got a ton of love to give a family or an individual. If Blazzer interests you, click on her picture to contact the Kent County Humane Society.
