I'm back home, though still a bit befuddled. The whole thing didn't go quite the way I expected it, and the drugs haven't kicked out yet.
I didn't actually have the tubal recanalization because when they ran the dye through the tubes to check for blockages, it whipped through both sides like quicksilver. So they didn't have to drug me fully and they didn't have to open anything up.
The doctor seemed to think that the pressure from the dye cleared out any remnant "debris." He kept on using that word "debris." Groggy, I kept picturing storm damage - tree downage, old tires, parts of Dorothy's Kansas shack. I don't know what he meant by that, but whatever it was, it's apparently gone now.
So I'm hoping they won't charge me full price for this gig, and that I'm good to go now. Thanks for the good thoughts today. I was pretty nervous, but it wasn't so bad. And I haven't gotten sick from the meds. So that's all to the good. Yay!
